Anleitung:
1. Schritt
Heat the oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the onion and sauté for 5 minutes until softened.

Add the garlic, ginger, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, cloves and bay leaves and cook for a further 2 minutes.

Add the pork and cook for 5 minutes until lightly browned.

Add the chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt and cook for a further 2 minutes.

Add the basmati rice and stir to combine.

Add 500ml of water and bring to the boil.

Reduce the heat to low and cover the pan with a lid.
8. Schritt
Cook for 20 minutes or until the rice is cooked and the pork is tender.

Serve hot with a side of your choice.

Make sure to use the correct amount of water when cooking the rice, as too much water will make the biryani soggy.
